Pekan Siam November 2008

Even though I stay so near to Thailand but I rarely travel into Thailand. But it was mom's birthday, somewhere special was needed badly. So off we went to Pekan Siam, Thailand.

Pekan Siam is a border town in the south of Songkhla Province in Southern Thailand. The town on the Malaysian side of the border, in Perlis is called Padang Besar. Malaysians usually refer to the town on the Thai side as "Pekan Siam" or "Siamese Town".

The place to have the sumptuous Thai dishes.

The restaurant is situated in the middle of the lake. Quite ok la the view but water a bit dirty lo.

woohoo~~~makan makan~~

I don't remember there was a Resturong in Pekan Siam...?

Another Hollywood wannabes LOL

Fun It was just a one day trip la

Expenses It's Thailand, it's always a bit cheaper

Food and Drinks No doubt in my favourite list!

Shopping Did not do shopping there

Similarity to Malaysia Pekan Siam is a carbon copy of Padang Besar, just not so much Thai words and characters.
